Results Driven Leadership

Fred Klein is a C-Suite executive from the Media and Technology industries with over 20 years of content strategy, content development, production, talent management, and business development experience spanning feature films, television, digital media and connected fitness. His lifelong love of feature films led him to spend the first decade of his career in Hollywood, where he worked as an executive for both film financiers and studio-backed production companies. Later, he would pivot his career towards digital strategy and business development, focusing first on web-native publishers and then cable television networks.  Ultimately, he would bring his love of long form storytelling and on camera talent to the fitness world, where he would serve for four years as Chief Content Officer to the pioneering connected fitness giant, Peloton.

As Chief Content Officer for Peloton, Fred oversaw all aspects of Production, Talent and Studio Operations leading up to their IPO in late 2019. Under Fred’s leadership, the company surged production to nearly 1,000 classes per month, expanding from one line of programming to eight, launching Bootcamp, Indoor and Outdoor Running and Walking, Yoga, Meditation, Strength and Stretching along the way. Fred also oversaw the design, launch and operation of Peloton’s Tread and Yoga studios in NYC, its debut international Cycling studio in London, and managed all aspects of the strategic vision, architectural design and operational planning for Peloton’s 35,000 square foot flagship studio which opened in 2020 on Manhattan’s West Side. Prior to his time at Peloton, Fred was the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Fuse Media (parent company of the Fuse cable television network) from 2013-2015, held multiple executive roles at IAC (NASDAQ: IAC) from 2008-2012, and spent much of the first decade of his career in Feature Film Development, most notably as the Creative Executive for Village Roadshow Pictures, producers of over 100 feature films, including The Matrix, Ocean's 11, and I Am Legend.

More recently, Fred has served in a variety of capacities in both the non-profit and private sectors, including the Board of Directors of the Westport, CT Public Library (2020-2021), Executive Advisor to the CEO and Founder of Tonal (2021-2022), and the President’s Circle Membership Council at Colgate University (2024-Present).

Fred holds a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He lives in Westport, CT with his wife, son, and two Labrador Retrievers.
